Is Baker Bleu the return of the neighbourhood bakery? With their third location in Cremorne, we might just be feeling that little bit extra European here in Melbourne.
The new spot is Baker Bleu's largest yet, just minutes away from Richmond Station, with heaps of seating (IYKYK) so you can actually sit down and enjoy your baked treats now.
New additions to their already stacked line-up include challah French toast topped with whipped ricotta and fresh fig, plus a ploughman's plate with the obligatory egg on the side, including freshly baked bread, pickles, ham and gruyere. This is alongside their fresh baguettes, toasties, pizzas and those incredible breakfast ficelles.
Sit in at lunch and chow down on a green goddess chicken salad with avo and chickpeas, or a fresh sourdough pizza topped with zucchini, garlic cream and stracciatella.
You'll also be able to grab yourself a barista-made Market Lane coffee as well instead of filter like at the other spots.
“We’re excited to bring Baker Bleu to a new market and look forward to becoming a part of the daily routine of Cremorne’s community,” says baker and owner Mike Russell. “Come in to get your daily sourdough loaf and coffee or settle in for a lunch or catch up with friends, our Cremorne store has something for everyone."
If Cremorne's a bit out of the way, hit up their existing locations in Caulfield North and Hawksburn. To pre-order bits and bobs, head over to their website.
