Ball Court Hotel
THE VERDICT
Sunbury’s Ball Court Hotel is back in the game after a multi-million-dollar transformation—including an all-new 600sqm beer garden.
Serving up pub-classics and nostalgia for over 150 years, Ball Court Hotel has left a parma-shaped imprint on Melbourne’s northwest.
This new iteration has seen a revamp of the modern bistro and sports bar—with more seats, large-screen TVs and menu options. The festoon-light-covered beer garden also has a playground so that no one in the family gets left out.
In terms of the menu, pub classics like fish & chips and beef & Guinness pie reign on. The burger selection has expanded, featuring the ‘Sunbury burger’ decked out with bacon, pineapple, egg and beetroot, as well as the fully loaded ‘parma burger’.
Ball Court Hotel has each day of the week covered with specials (like Tuesday’s $22 parma & Pot), live music almost every weekend and ‘happy hour’ making weekdays that little bit more fun.
