The verdict
Just off the main drag at Kew Junction, Base Camp Espresso is an unfussy café that, very simply, does coffee really, really well. The lovingly operated three-group Slayer espresso machine takes pride of place, serving up strong, velvety coffee to sleepy-eyed businessmen and mums on the school run.
In need of a little more to get you going? The café offers sweet treats as well as sandwiches made fresh daily. A very welcome addition to the Kew caffeine scene.
