The Verdict
Bawa is a welcome addition to Hawthorn. It's light-filled space and thoughtfully curated menu make for a luxe cafe experience. There are a few star dishes on the menu, but the ricotta fritters that come with lavendar custard, strawberries and pecan praline are our clear favourite.
