The Verdict

The latest venture from the team who brought us Brother Thomas (much love), Beer Wine and Calzone is a no-frills, laid-back pizzeria, ideal for a messy lunch or post-work pit stop.   

Expect top-notch, crispy pizza from the menu with fresh ingredients like buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, San Daniele ham and parmesan. The trademark calzones (folded pizzas) are packed with creative, flavoursome produce like their Friulano with artichoke hearts, tender salted aged beef, lashings of rocket and stringy Italian cheese. The petite bar is home to classic cocktails, a boutique local wine menu and enough spirits to keep any post-work crew happy. The spacious interior features a large communal standing bench and an open kitchen—perfect for catch-ups and calzone feasts.
