The Verdict
You will be hard pressed to find something more satisfying than a classic Betty's Burger washed down with an extra thick chocolate peanut butter shake. And now the good people of Windsor can enjoy it too, because the wildly popular Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. have just rolled out a location on Melbourne’s Chapel Street.
If you're unfamiliar, these legends have been serving up scrumptious burgers for years in Queensland and they’ve got it down to a goddamn art. From the melt-in-your-mouth bun to the beef patty topped with cheese, the crew at Betty’s Burgers nail it every bloody time.
The best part? To celebrate the opening they’re giving away a $2000 shopping spree and Betty’s Burgers for an entire year. You read that correctly. All you’ve got to do is snap a pic in their new Windsor locale and upload it to the ‘gram to go in the running. It’s that easy.
The good times don’t stop there. They’ve also teamed up with Windsor donut connoisseur (our dream job) Bistro Morgan to deliver a limited edition ‘Local’ Concrete dessert. But be quick, it’s only up for grabs during their opening week (26 November - 2 December). It’s a delectable spin on the iconic Cookie Butter Concrete served with custard ice-cream and topped with the brand new cinnamon-coated donut ball, which is also filled with cookie butter and topped with Nutella sauce. We’re drooling just typing this.
We’ve probably talked enough about the food (it’s hard not to), but their decor is just as gossip-worthy. A trip to Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. is like stepping onto the set of a 1950’s movie. It’s a bright and bold retro burger shack that just oozes cool. Wrap your hands around a burger, gorge on crispy onion rings and soak up the relaxed vibes. Date night? Gals' night? Tuesday night? Sorted.
Did we mention their menu also features wine, beer and ciders? This place has it all.
