Located on Toorak Road West, Bistro Gitan is one of Melbourne's best contemporary French restaurants. A collaboration between Jacques Reymond and his children Antoine, Edouard and Nathalie, Bistro Gitan's menu features French bistro classics as well as modern dishes with flourishes of Spanish and Italian influence. Similarly, Gitan's wine list is a confident mixture of both old and new world, with fine drops that, as in Paris, can be bought by the glass, pichet, carafe or bottle.
