And if their GENIUS egg martinis and egg pizzas aren’t egging you on yet, get this: they’ve somehow managed to be extremely different and yet extremely Melbourne. How? They’ve deconstructed the traditional smashed avo dish – and it’s a real crowd pleaser. In fact, Black Gold isn't afraid to go all out in beautifying their dishes with the finest ingredients. You won’t find yourself eating anything from the Coles deli down the road, because Black Gold’s Chef Azem Dzevlan loves to keep all things premium. We're guessing Richmond locals will definitely be back for multiple visits, but get in early before their heavenly hollandaise-drenched wagyu benedict sells out!
Nothing beats trying out a new blend of coffee, and this café’s black gold is a special raspberry candy roast from ONA Coffee (they’re one of the first in Melbourne to offer it). Sweet and addictive. The perfect morning pick-me-up.
