Brother Baba Budan
The verdict
The city-slicking sister of Carlton's Seven Seeds café, Brother Baba Budan is a coffee lover's delight. Named after the 17th century Islamic scholar who smuggled coffee into India, BBB has an industrial feel, with wooden chairs hanging from the ceiling. It's often packed to the rafters with early morning corporates and seats just a few, so if you're after the famous single origin blends, it's better to come after the morning rush.
You should know that there's no menu, but there are a selection of little nibbles (pastries, muffins and cupcakes), making Brother Baba Budan perfect for three-thirty-itis.
