A short stroll from Flagstaff Gardens, the haven of good coffee that is Brother Thomas has brightened the day of many an office worker or lawyer based nearby. Taking minimalism to new heights, vast concrete walls are the perfect backdrop for pale wooden furniture and cream and blue tiles.
One of a growing, plucky crop of smaller roasters, Jerome Dadon's team make an ace house blend as well as offering single origins, and there's Little bertha cakes and goodies from South Melbourne's Brasserie Breads, too.
