The verdict
Previously known as Carters Bar, Carters Public House is an awesome music, beer and food venue on Northcote's vibrant High Street. As well as serving up some delicious local and imported beers, ciders and wines, Carters does a great line in pub food too—think pulled pork rolls, onion rings and both beef and veggie burgers—and pulls a large crowd of locals, especially when there's a live band playing. A cracking small venue that you'll definitely be back to!
