The verdict
Housed in a beautiful old stone building on Queen Street, Cat Cafe is Australia's first cafe with, you guessed it, cats! For just $10 you can spend an hour-long session with the 12 resident furballs, sourced from the Geelong Animal Welfare Society and the Lost Dogs Home in North Melbourne. Keeping with health and safety regulations, the cafe proper is kept separate from the cats, so grab tea, coffee and cake before you play with Waldo, Lopez and all the other kitties. Purrrr-fect!
