The Verdict

We don’t know if it’s the cool street art, basketball hoop, delicious paninis or all of the above, but Coe & Coe is quickly becoming a fan favourite among locals. This is the second café for former Melbourne Victory goalkeeper, Nathan Coe, whose first café is the much loved Rocco & Coe in Port Melbourne. The coffee, juice and paninis are all made to order and they’ve even added some fancy fillings to mix things up like spicy tuna and jalapeno aioli! They're also mixing things up with their take on the loyalty card—get your Polaroid taken, then mark off each of your coffee purchases on the photo strung out near the counter. To top things off, the good guys from Coe & Coe are a part of the Buy1Give1 initiative where a percentage of their sales goes to selected charity projects!

Caffè Amatrice

It’s no secret that Italy’s cafe culture is top-notch. The melange of European charm, elegant aesthetics and community all bundled into your morning espresso is irresistible. Luckily for us, Melbourne has scored a(nother) taste of this prestige in the heart of Cremorne—Caffé Amatrice.
