The Verdict
There’s nothing common about Commonfolk Coffee. A little away from the busiest strip in Mornington, Commonfolk Coffee serves uncommonly good coffee and exceptional brunch with a generous side of cheeky, friendly service.
A staple in the Mornington café scene, Commonfolk Coffee proudly donates 20 cents from every cup of coffee to support sustainable coffee farming in less fortunate regions. If there was ever a better reason for an extra large, extra strong coffee, we haven’t heard it.
Chow down on cinnamon and panela sugar French toast with OJ braised rhubarb, macadamia crumble, vanilla crème fraiche and minted sugar with your coffee. At lunchtime you can sink your teeth into the Po’ the Boiz with ramen crumbed chicken, Po’Boy w apple and napa cabbage kimchi, straight up kewpie and hot mint mayo on a long toasted roll.
