The Verdict
One of our favourite pizza places in Melbourne, D.O.C. serves traditional pizza to the masses with authenticity and care. With two other venues located in uber-Italian Carlton, it was time to move a little bit out of the comfort zone - south, to Albert Park to be exact. D.O.C specialises in simple Italian fare made beautifully, like a classic margherita pizza with san marzano tomato, fresh basil and only the finest mozzarella available.
Try out their cured meats and artisanal cheeses at the mozzarella bar, or pick from a selection of traditional toppings if you're more in the mood for pizza (AKA always).
