The Verdict
Housed in a former warehouse in Cremorne, Denis the Menace is a new Melbourne cafe from Adam Wilkinson, formerly of Woodstock and St Edmonds. With ex-St Edmonds chef Simon Neale commandeering the kitchen and barista Damon Glover in charge of caffeinating the masses, Denis the Menace is sure to get the Melbourne cafe crowd excited. Expect plentiful healthy options, and dishes including ocean trout poached in coconut curry with chilli, sweet basil, mint, kaffir lime and brown rice, and a Japanese-style omelette with spanner crab and seaweed salad.
