The verdict
East Elevation is a cafe and events space on Lygon Street in the heart of East Brunswick, sharing a building and common ownership with Monsieur Truffe – famed purveyors of high-quality chocolate. Naturally, then, they are known to serve the best hot chocolate in Melbourne. Coffee lovers are also well catered for with beans from Market Lane. The East Elevation menu is the brainchild of chef Brian Edwards, and is geared towards seasonal, local produce (they even have their own rooftop garden, complete with a passionfruit vine!) and they have a special focus on the diet sensitive. East Elevation is also a popular function space and available for private dining events.
