The Verdict
I know we were all pretty devo when Little Creatures closed their Brunswick Street dining hall, but then it was reborn as Fitzroy Social and we all rejoiced! This restaurant and bar comes from the same hospitality group that owns Asian Beer Café, Father’s Office and The Bank on Collins, so you know it’s in good company!
Fitzroy Social uses locally sourced ingredients for all their food, beers and ciders and the quirky interior is no exception with reclaimed wood from Mornington Pier being a definite standout feature. There’s also copper detailing throughout the huge space, a hanging ceiling to create the illusion of dining under a green ceiling and a neon-lit back bar. If you’re looking for a midday snack, definitely hit these guys up for their $19 lunch special!

Sebastian
San Sebastian is a desired travel destination known for its top-notch cuisine and sandy village energy—and definitely not something you would expect to find on the shores of Williamstown Beach. Yet here we are, a restaurant that will have you feeling like you’re holidaying in the Basque region.
