You know a café is trendy when they have Himalayan salt listed as an ingredient in their smoothies. Yes, Prahran’s Fourth Chapter is another one of those new pretty cafes serving up golden lattes, acai bowls and, you guessed it, smashed avo. Are we sick of these café opening up everywhere? The answer is a strong hell-to-the-no. Because there will never be a shortage of Melbourne brunch enthusiasts willing to line up with the hopes of getting a food porn pic that will break their Insta likes record. If you fall into this category (no shame, btw), Fourth Chapter may indeed be your winning ticket.
The raspberry granola with coconut pannacotta and hazelnuts and almonds (surprisingly, they’re not activated) is literally prettier than my face. Make sure you don’t take too long getting the perfect angle/lighting/flat lay so you can actually experience the crunchy, gooey goodness. And if a sweet breakfast is not your thing, you definitely can’t go past the baked eggs with pancetta, avo and blue corn tortillas. Eat it while it's hot.
