The Verdict
The Reymond's are synonymous with Melbourne's food scene, so when we heard that third-generation restaurateurs Nathalie, Edouard and Antoine Reymond were opening a new restaurant and bar in up-and-coming foodie suburb Cremorne we were definitely keen to hear more.
Frédéric and Fred's Bar are adjacent venues and compliment each other perfectly.
Frédéric is a European restaurant that serves up delicious dishes such as grilled octopus, black garlic mayonnaise, mussel powder, pickled corn, braised radicchio, and snapper a la plancha, zucchini purée, fish bacon, baked swede, dried cherry tomatoes.
Fred's, on the other hand, serves an all-day menu which caters for your early morning coffee and European pastry needs, through to after-work drinks. There's even happy hour every weekday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with $6 schooners of Fred's lager, $8 house wines, $10 Spritz on tap, and $14 glasses of Laurent-Perrier Champagne—you can also add oysters for $2 each to keep you going well into the night.
