A brand new bistro restaurant has just popped up on South Yarra's Domain Road and I'll tell you what, it's a little bit fancy.

Gilson is the latest venture to grace our food scene from the team behind Mammoth and Touchwood, two of our city's must popular brekkie destinations. This luxe new venue boasts three separate menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a comprehensive drinks selection that makes it a no-brainer for after-work drinkies.

With outdoor seating an option, we recommend pulling up a table outside and enjoying a stunning view of the Botanical Gardens while you tuck into your delicious gnocchi with zucchini flowers, squash, cherry tomatoes and ricotta (hullo, Christmas).
