The Verdict

With a nonexistent online presence, quirky weekend schedule, and $9 food and drinks, Good Times has quickly been baptised as a local staple.

Located on busy St Georges Road, the bright little restaurant offers a dining experience that is fun and always reinventing itself. One glance at the pastel yellow facade of the building, and we were already in love. 

The drawcard of Good Times is the ever-changing menu with many of the offerings at a wildly reasonable price. They proudly boast their amazing $9 wine carafe, pasta, negronis and craft beer. But don’t be deceived, this is no fast food wannabe: the puttanesca, carbonara and pipis in decadent garlic sauce leave you wanting more. Using the freshest of ingredients, the simplicity of these dishes truly shines. 

Also adding to the fun, is the charming candlelit interior, warm wooden decor and alfresco style garden; this is a completely comfortable, laid-back vibe. And on cold days, Good Times might even bring out some marshmallows for you to indulge in.
