Good Vibes Yoga | Collingwood
If you can’t find your zen here, you probably can’t find it anywhere.
The Collingwood Good Vibes studio is everything an experienced yogi dreams of when they walk into a class—naturally lit, inviting and calming all at once.
Don’t get us wrong, everyone from beginners to head standing pros are welcome, but if you’ve tried and tested a few studios you’ll know what we mean.
The first Good Vibes studio in Northcote was founded by Melbourne artist Kirra Jamison who wanted to create an aesthetically beautiful and welcoming studio, and she’s managed to do just that with both spaces.
To sum it up, the name of the studio captures it pretty well.
For starters, there’s a glass and concrete atrium, with a granite boulder zen garden (yeah wow). There are also two different studios within the building, with plenty of space to practice, so there’s no danger of having someone’s foot in your face like in a lot of other studios.
Did we mention they also provide complimentary Manduka yoga mats and organic linen bolters for your practice? No two-dollar mat fee here, thank you.
The experience doesn’t end when you’ve finished our favourite pose—Shavasana, aka lying down. When you hit the showers, you don’t have to worry about bringing your own body wash, because they’re stocked up with natural beauty products for you to use. Nice.
There are six class styles taught here and over 80 of them happening throughout the week, from the fast-paced and dynamic Vinyasa classes to their more calming and chill candlelit yin flows.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of any more excuses to not try yoga, especially when the studio is so insta-worthy.
