The Verdict
Vegans, it’s time to pho-king freak out. Newly opened GOODdays offers vegan Vietnamese food on Sydney Road, with half the menu dedicated to vegan-friendly dishes. Think house-made vegan mushroom and tofu spring rolls and fragrant four mushroom pho. We’re pho into this menu.
For your carnivorous friends, meat is free-range and ethically sourced. Expect organic eight-hour roasted pork, 24-hour sous-vide Victorian Black Angus beef brisket and free-range chicken.
This pint-sized restaurant seats just 25 pho-addicts. Tiled floors, deep timber benches and pale emerald walls create an upmarket, modern space. Underneath plump Edison lights, you can sit at the bench and watch the GOODdays chefs at pho-bulous work.
