The opening of Hampton Wine Co marks an exciting period for Hampton Street: once a strip with very few food options, this little part of sleepy Bayside is now blossoming.
The team, ex Jacques Reymond, are serving up sexy, sophisticated and moreish dishes that have rarely been seen in this part of town before. All smaller plates designed for sharing, you can try a little bit of everything and wash it all down with a delicious glass of wine (there's seriously not a bad bottle in the place!) And because it's also a boutique bottle-shop, if you don't finish it, simply take the rest home with you.
Our picks of the bunch are the smoked salmon profiteroles with tomato dust, charred cos, almond and pecorino - and to finish, the Lavender meringue with honey and blueberries.
