The Verdict

I know what you’re thinking: “Oh no, not another burger joint.” And while that reaction may or may not be warranted (after all, Melbourne is rife with delicious burger joints), we’re happy to announce that Henry’s Burgers is not just your average burger joint.

Henry’s philosophy begins with consciously looking at sustainable ingredients to create ethical fast food. Which means that all the burgers at Henry’s are vegan.

Meat eaters do not—I repeat—do not roll your eyes because Henry’s creates both a delicious and thoughtful dining experience for all walks of life. Henry’s looked far and wide to find the perfect plant-based pattie, as well as a soy and vital wheat gluten pattie for their mock chicken burger, (a ‘pretender-loin’).

Fries, onion rings and nuggets are coated in a tasty mouthwatering house-made seasoning. And all packaging is plant-based, destined for local compositing companies rather than landfill.

Henry’s also provides an all-vegan drink offering, including plant-based soft serves and milkshakes, natural wines made especially for Henry’s, craft beers by local Fitzroy/Collingwood heroes, SereneTea (Root Chakra) Hibiscus, and root black tea.

So the next time you’re craving burgers in Fitzroy, do yourself and the planet a favour and skip over to Henry’s. They’re open Sunday to Wednesday 11 am - 11 pm, and Thursday to Saturday 11 am - 1 am.
