A newcomer to Brunswick's dining scene, Host is a beautiful, petite restaurant serving the best in local cuisine, hidden in a northside warehouse. Owned by Nedim and Majda Rahmanovic, previously of North Melbourne’s Twenty & Six Espresso café, the restaurant serves small sharing plates and larger dishes for hungrier diners, accompanied by an abbreviated wine list that's pretty much a 'best of' when it comes to more obscure tipples.
The venue itself is home to several stunning custom-built booths—perfect for an intimate date or get-together with a group of friends—as well as an open kitchen and bar, letting you see all the action. If mouth-watering Australian fusion flavours are your thing, the frequently changing menu is bound to delight, as well as introduce you to a few new ingredients.
Only open during the latter half of the week, Host makes for the perfect long lunch or evening nightcap spot. Just don't tell too many people about our new favourite laneway secret!
