Joe doesn't sell shoes here anymore; rather, Joe's Shoe Store is a quirky wine bar recycling the previous tenant's signage at this Northcote watering hole. Warm and homely inside, Joe has a wine list as long as your arm for you to enjoy with pizza delivered from the guys next door (Pizza Meine Liebe). On warmer days, sit outside and enjoy a spot of bocce, if the notion to work off the pizza and beer takes you. Fitted out with leather, wood and concrete, it's the staff here that hold the most appeal. Say hello, but remember none of them are named Joe.
