Sometimes, the ol' avo and toast just doesn't cut it. If you're drifting around the Brunswick area, looking for a brunch venue that's shaking things up, you can't go wrong with Lankan Tucker, a Sri Lankan-inspired cafe that's serving up some delicious breakfast plates, lunchtime feasts and baked goods.

Lankan Tucker is definitely doing the fusion thing well. The venue itself is bright and daylight-filled, furnished with the sort of minimal design details we're all too used to finding in cafes these days. As for the menu, expect roti stuffed with veggies and spices, traditional coconut-topped breakfast curries, and a south east Asian fried chicken burger that perfectly balances #fatfeeds with exotic flavours. 

We also absolutely cannot fault Lankan Tucker's commitment to coffee—their rich, delicious cups of our favourite caffeinated brew are pure coffee perfection. Whether you're a Brunswick local or a suburban tourist on a mission for a hearty meal, it's worth your time checking out this firm fusion favourite.
