The verdict
The LuWOW is a one stop tribal bar on Johnston Street, Fitzroy. This tiki-themed cocktail den looks like it came from the set of the Scooby Doo movie - monkey finger puppets, flame torches, and lots and lots of animal print - but that's not all they're about. Pop in for themed cocktails (and big jugs of punch) with loud rock 'n roll, as well as plenty of live dance events, including go-go dancers and a rum club held on Wednesdays. There's also a full island menu available with burgers, coconut prawns and other easy eats.
