THE VERDICT

Yes, it is in Mid-Air. This open-air architecturally designed rooftop is a stunning addition to Melbourne's skyline and your must-do list.

Situated on level 12 of Melbourne Place, this aesthetic rooftop bar, restaurant and brunch spot was designed by acclaimed architects Kennedy Nolan. The rooftop oasis feels like stepping into another world—one where the golden light of sunset hits just right and the cocktails flow.

Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and everything else you could possibly imagine, the restaurant itself is helmed by Young Hatted Chef of the Year Nick Deligiannis.

The menu in the restaurant pays homage to all our fave spots on the Mediterranean; Greece, Turkey and Spain, while still having a distinctly Melbourne feel. Think lots of fish, peppers, olives and snackable bits that before you know it, turn into a meal.

Watch out for their tomapork (yes, it is what it sounds like) featuring prune brown sauce, melitzana, and jus. Brunch as well is an affair with hefty, loaded bacon and egg focaccias (with obligatory hashbrown), while drinks are easy with signature spritzes and bubbles.
