The Verdict

Melbourne’s casual dining scene has had a bit of a shake up with the arrival of misschu in South Melbourne. From the same team behind misschu in South Yarra and Exhibition Street, expect the same top-notch modern Vietnamese dishes from the South Melbourne venue.

With its relaxed style of food, funky interiors and approachable attitude towards dining, misschu melbourne’s South Melbourne digs are the perfect spot for a casual catch up with mates.

The menu is almost entirely designed to share and features crowd favourites such as rice paper and spring rolls, duck pancakes, traditional beef pho and a glorious selection of fresh as fresh salads. You’re welcome to BYO wine Sunday to Thursday. There’s a small corkage fee and a Dan Murphy’s right across the road – How convenient!

A large portion of the menu is gluten-free and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. See, we said it was the perfect place to go with mates!

Open from lunch time to late 7 days, there’s also a delivery service within 3kms of the restaurant.... And have you seen how cute their delivery scooters are?!

misschu also provides an amazing catering service – perfect for the next shindig you host that you just can’t be bothered cooking for.

Sitting pretty on the corner of Cecil street and Market street (right near the South Melbourne Markets), misschu is hard to miss and easily one of the best lunch, dinner and takeaway options in the area.

Weather you're feeling a long lunch with your crew, grabbing an express lunch, or craving takeaway, misschu’s newest venue in South Melbourne has your back.
