If you live in or around the outer Eastern suburb of Mitcham, we may have just found your new local.
Mitcham Social is a warm and welcoming restaurant and bar that caters for everyone. Hidden away inside a former Thatcher steel factory, owner Michael has transformed the fifty-year-old red brick industrial estate into an incredible venue with a relaxed environment for friends and family to enjoy together.
The huge space located off Rooks Road can cater for 180 guests, with the long communal tables and seating arrangements encouraging sharing and socializing. In the same style, the menu is designed to be shared, featuring some epic platters and cheese boards, a huge variety of different pizzas or a whole lamb shoulder cooked in their woodfired oven.
This family-friendly venue has something for everyone, with a designated area for little ones to play, a pool table for the not-so-little to play, and live music on Sundays to help you recover from the night before.
