Congratulations, Berwick, you’ve got a new kid on the block and it's absolutely drool-worthy! Get ready for a steakhouse inspired by New York’s meatpacking district, brought to you by a team that includes an ex-Vue Group chef. Best bit—it’s seriously, seriously delicious.

The MDP Steak Kitchen has just about every type of steak there is, including some more unusual cuts like the Pope’s eye steak – all of which are jam packed with flavour. The place is decked out with plush booths and armchairs, so you can enjoy one of their many wine options in a state of pure comfort.

For those of us who aren’t after steak (no judgement, we swear), there are some other goodies on the menu. There’s sous vide snapper, BBQ spatchcock and Flinders Island lamb. Still not sure? Well, for dessert they’ve got burnt mandarin mousse with basil sorbet. Or you could go for their white chocolate parfait... That is, of course, if you have room after the 1.2kg steak!

MPD Steak Kitchen is proving you don’t need to stay in a 10km radius of the CBD to nab a good feed. In fact, we’re pretty sure this one is well above par.
