Mr Tulk
The verdict
Mr Tulk, the licensed cafe attached to the Lonsdale Street side of the State Library, is the perfect place to sip on on a latte or vino while you read a riveting piece of fiction, or to chow down on fresh and hearty brain-food to fuel some serious study. Named after Augustus Tulk, the State Library's first librarian, Mr Tulk is a great pit stop for brunch, lunch, or a TGIF tipple (Friday happy hour study break is 5.30-6.30). Take a break and chew the fat with your study buddies, or why not hire the venue for your next book club meet?
