The Verdict

Listers, who doesn’t love crepes?! We’ve found some of the best crepes in Melbourne—yup, served alongside cracking coffee, galettes (that’s the proper name for more substantial savoury crepes), cold beers, wine and more at Myrtles Crepes & Coffee in Northcote.

With a focus on comfort food, the cozy Northcote cafe makes its crepes from scratch, right before your very eyes. The creperie is cute—ideal for brunch, lunch and supper—and does a wonderful lunchtime menu, making it one of our top lunch picks if you work in the area. Then once it hits the evening, Myrtles Crepes & Coffee becomes a fantastic date spot with a relaxed, intimate vibe—great for catch-ups over coffee as well as a romantic glass of wine.

Choose from mouth-wateringly delicious savoury dishes that feature cheese, ham, mushrooms, spinach and eggs (vegetarian options available too, obvs), or go the whole hog with the extensive offering of sweet crepes, including the epic banana and salted caramel combo—definitely one of the best crepes in Melbourne for you sweet-toothed readers! And to top it all off, the venue’s licensed, so you can quench your thirst with a well-deserved glass of wine or our new favourite winter warmer, a Bailey’s hot chocolate. We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t ended up on an accidental Sunday session here!

Love the sound of Myrtles Crepes & Coffee? You can get your fix of the best crepes in Melbourne every day except Monday. Crepes six days a week? Now that’s a diet we can get behind!
