Hidden next door to its sister bar Double Happiness on Liverpool Street Chinatown, New Gold Mountain is a dim-lit den of lanterns, delicate furnishings and cocktails, making it a drinking arena for people who understand the true art of mixology. Boasting the RAIA Marion Mahony Award for Interior Architecture, we don't need to tell you how New Gold Mountain is a feast for the eyes, as well as the palate. There's only 80 seats inside so it is definitely a place for an intimate drink. Tread carefully when visiting - there's no sign out the front - just look for the golden door.
