The Verdict
North Melbourne Recreation Centre, or NMRC as it's commonly referred to, is a hive of activity...not to mention one of the best gyms in Melbourne. It's pretty awesome at NMRC; there's a shiny new gym and stadium on Arden Street, where all the fitness classes and personal training is held, along with an outdoor pool and aquatic facilities on nearby Macauley Road (operating on a seasonal schedule). If you're looking for a gym in North Melbourne, you really can't go past NMRC!
