It's a mouthful of a name but Gardenvale cafe, Omar & the Marvellous Coffee Bird, certainly doesn't let you down! Omar's has a simple coffee philosophy: 'if it isn't the best it can be, we won't serve it'. They bring it to you straight from the farm and right to the cup - all coffee roasted and brewed onsite. To accompany your brew, there's a simple menu of standard breakfast favourites, as well as a variety of flatbreads for lunch. They also stock Humble cakes, if your sweet tooth comes begging. You might want to buy some of their coffee to take home, as you won't see it anywhere else in Melbourne.
