Bridge Road is making its way back to our hearts thanks to cafes like OTTO, who’s bridging the gap between Swan Street’s reign over Richmond and the brunch mecca that is the inner-northern burbs.

The team behind the new Bridge Road digs has invested in quality across the board, which is clear in the speciality coffee options along with a menu that offers a fresh spin on the classics. The contemporary and bronzed interiors add a compelling touch to your breakfast, brunch or lunch experience, too.

There’s a clear view of the kitchen from almost every seat in the house, which is always a sign of trust and transparency between cafe and customer. Their signature dish, available from 7am to 3pm, is described as a savoury creme brulee, exotic mushroom with egg custard. There’s also a miso smashed avo and a summery iteration of French toast, which are both deserving of a mention.
