The verdict

Paperboy Kitchen is Melbourne's latest pop-up to set up permanent digs, dishing out Vietnamese-inspired street food to the hungry hordes of city workers from its Little Lonsdale Street shop. There are five or six items on the menu at any given time, with delights such as BBQ chicken, pulled lamb and panko fish stuffed into a traditional bánh mì or piled high on top of a bún rice noodle salad. The staff are friendly, the servings are generous and the coconuts are freshly cracked – it's little wonder this place is packed every lunchtime.
