Fitzroy cafe Pavlov's Duck has had a healthy makeover and we're a little bit obsessed! The Smith Street favourite now offers an amazing breakfast and lunch menu, inspired by the rich and flavoursome cuisine of Sri Lanka, with standout dishes including the Lankan Frenchy (an organic croissant with a coconut, hint of chilli, lemon and parsley salad topped with a boiled egg) and the ‘Pol’ Roti (house made coconut roti with onions, spiced red lentils and a boiled egg).
Pavlov's Duck also offers an impressive range of raw, organic, vegan, dairy free, sugar cane free and gluten free dishes and especially sweet treats…perfect if you need a little something after lunch!
When it comes to ordering, you're pretty spoilt for choice - to be honest, we think the Fish & Potato Fritters should be in the running for Melbourne's best breakfast, and the Pumpkin & Chia Seed Pancakes is one of the tastiest brunch dishes we've had in a long time! There's lots of guilt free treats too - think raw lemon slice, raw raspberry cheesecake and more - along with teas, coffee from Padre, and kombucha, a delicious probiotic drink.
Whether it's breakfast, brunch or lunch that you're after, make sure you stop by Pavlov's Duck - you won't be disappointed!
