The Verdict
A wet waddle away from St Kilda beach sits Pelican cafe-restaurant. Featuring an all day menu from breakfast to dinner, Pelican is ideal for everyone from hungry beach-lovers to your post-work crew.
The interior is sleek and spacious, boasting leather bar stools and open concrete. An ocean-coloured, blue tiled bench hints at the restaurant’s location. Brunch is straightforward and generous, so expect classic Melbourne brunch dishes, expertly executed. Lunch and dinner is a shared affair (food hoarders are not welcome), with chargrilled calamari, jerk chicken and heirloom beetroot salads among the picks. A great seaside find.
