Iconic CBD restaurant Red Spice Road has new digs, but you'll be happy to know it's just a short stroll from their former location.

Red Spice Road's new location is a former art gallery space that's been transformed into a communal dining space that will be familiar to regulars and welcoming to those visiting for the first time.

“After 12 years at our beloved McKillop street location, we were looking for our next venue for a very long time. We had a long list of ‘must-haves’ and when the Queen Street property came on the market, we knew it was the one. This has been a challenging building project – but worth it. Our design team have yet again done an amazing job creating the perfect new home for Red Spice Road. We are really excited about opening the doors and the new adventure ahead and look forward to inviting Melbourne to come and enjoy the new Red Spice Road energy” says Vanessa Green, Co-owner and Managing Director, Apples + Pears Entertainment Group.

There's room for 300 diners inside alongside 3 private dining rooms where you'll feast upon the likes of cumin and pepper-crusted lamb ribs, Malaysian duck curry, kingfish salad, and spicy Korean BBQ beef ribs.
