She’s Bar & Cafe

Taking over one of Fitzroy's most prominent corners, She's Bar & Cafe has popped up in the space that was previously the G & T Gin Garden. Refitting the space with a handful of more luxurious details, the streetside bar and restaurant specialises in sharing plates and some of the freshest cocktails on the strip, making the most of the covetable location. 

Owner Nicole named the venue She's as an ode to strong women, but the venue itself is as far from the matronly types that phrase might conjure up as possible! She's is more about the cocktail-sipping, vegan carpaccio nibbling type of gal, and we have to admit, we liked her from the get-go. With a menu that includes tempura oysters, kingfish sashimi, garlic prawns and a host of vegetarian options, finding something to snack on won't be hard, however it's the cocktail list that has us hooked: Beetroot negronis, rhubarb gin fizz and a thyme martini all feature, making for adventurous options that all taste fantastic. 

She's Bar & Cafe might be situated next to some tough Brunswick Street competition but for people-watchers like ourselves, it's a go-to for a Sunday sipper. One to watch in 2016...
