The Verdict
Smalls is the little wine bar that could. Tucked down South Melbourne laneway, Yarra Place, you'll find Smalls next to cafe favourite St Ali. Smalls is small by name, small by nature (the venue only seats a few dozen lucky diners) but is big on personality. The fit out is stunning - lots of rich woods and stark white painted brick. The wine list is impressive and the list of bar snacks is exactly what you'll feel like.
