St Ali
The verdict
Since opening its converted warehouse doors in South Melbourne in 2003, St Ali has come to be known as a Melbourne coffee institution.
The beloved Melbourne cafe and roastery was originally the brainchild of Mark Dundon - now head honcho at Seven Seeds. Changing hands in 2008, St Ali has opened a sister version on the Northside (St Ali North), and continues to thrive under the watchful eye of cafe baron, Salvatore Malatesta.
At St Ali, you'll witness a dedication to artful coffee-making techniques, including syphon, pour over and filtering methods, resulting in delectable coffee flavours every day of the year. Not to mention great food.
