Difficult to find, even with Google Maps in your pocket, St. Burgs is tucked inside an apartment complex in Maribyrnong. It’s probably best just to drive up, close your eyes, and follow the scent of perfectly cooked patties.
St. Burgs' style is a little different to your standard beef burger. The patties are smashed, gnarly and overdone on the outside, pink and juicy on the inside, seasoned just right and smothered in American cheddar. You can’t go too far wrong with either the Cheesy D or the Double D: both come with a twin-patty, pillowy milk bun, and St. Burg’s signature gherkin relish. It’s probably the multiple sauces that really set St. Burg’s apart—most stacks come with a combination, including tomato sauce, smoky BBQ, Sriracha mayo and spiced aioli. Prepare for drippage.

St. Burgs has a solid range of sides, including seasoned cut chips and cheesy fries. You should probably also double down with a shake. Take your pick from Salted Caramel, Nutella, Milo and Matcha (you’ve gotta go the Milo, right?)
