Sticky Institute
The verdict
Chances are you've raced past it whilst rushing through the Degraves Subway to catch the train from Flinders Street Station, but Sticky Institute is definitely worth a return visit at your leisure. This unique, not-for-profit art space is a cosy haven of creativity, bursting at the seams with an impressive collection of zines and quirky, hand-crafted publications. You can become the publisher/writer/creator with all the necessary tools at your fingertips; there's a badge maker, guillotine, typewriter, photocopier, long arm stapler, an array of coloured pens, and even an online mail-order department. Get uber hipster-creative and publish that 12 page brochure about cats and tea cozies you've always dreamt about.
