You know that feeling where you really don’t want to cook, but also can't justify eating out? There's nothing in the cupboard (and not a lot in your bank account) and you wanna eat something delicious and healthy that'll make you a better person? Not too much to ask, right?

Well Malvern cafe Street Organics has the solution. They've just opened up an 'organic dispensary'—a brand-spanking new Street Organics Express takeaway joint, over in South Yarra.

This hole-in-the-wall (literally) has packed a lot of goodness into their tiny little space, offering a wide spread of vegan options, salads, focaccias, muesli, raw treats, smoothie bowls, and we’re running out of breath now. And all with the familiar fresh, tasty quality you know from their Malvern store.

When the weather gets chillier (winter is coming), we suggest the ‘Heart Warmer’: a bone broth noodle soup with miso, veggies and udon noodles. Scrumptious. Another top pick—their superfood bowls with quinoa, sweet potato, broccoli, cabbage and spinach. 

You can trust the coffee will give you that caffeine hit you’re after too, thanks to their Naked Espresso blends (house-made almond milk and coconut milk available too). Street Organic Express is also slinging some brewed kombucha tonics that'll kick your winter cold in the ass. Think 't & g' with raw honey and turmeric, or beetroot-red blueberry with black tea. They're available in cute takeaway bottles. In fact, everything at this place is designed to grab, go and munch. A proper life-saver for the uber-busy South Yarra corporate crowd.

And speaking of Uber, if bed is just way too comfy tonight, they’re on UberEats too. Score.
